Spring Thrifting Haul

Between the wedding and house, there hasn’t been much time for thrifting, which makes me sad.  I remedied that today because I had to run an errand on the other side of town, and I hit every thrift store on the way back.  I’m so happy I did.

The happiest finds were pants!  I have trouble finding pants that are long enough.  I seem to be just a little too tall for most regular cuts.  One of the Goodwills had an insane amount of tall pants in my size.  It was like Christmas!  All of the brands were good quality, too, which added an extra happy to my finds.  I bought two khakis for $6, one pair of white pants for $4, and one pair of gray pants for $4.  I’m all stocked up on work pants for a while!

I also found a pair of Rock & Republic jeans for $8, and a pair of long shorts for $4.

Six pairs of bottoms is pretty much unprecedented in my thrift finds, so I’m really happy I went today.

The one downside was finding a pair of dark brown riding boots that looked great.  Except when they wouldn’t zip up around my calf.  Boo.  Oh well, can’t win them all.

All told, about $50 spent and now I have a big pile of laundry to do before I can show off my finds.  Happy thrifting out there!
